(Milan, IL) -- The Quad City Animal Welfare Center is waiving dog adoption fees ahead of construction on kennels.
Starting Wednesday, adoption fees will be waived for all available dogs until July 5th.
Construction on the shelter's dog kennels is set to begin July 10th.
QCAWC says dogs that aren't adopted will continue to be cared for by shelter volunteers until the renovations are done
