Eastern Iowa Police Search For Man Accused Of Shooting Man & Woman

(Clinton, IA) -- Investigators are looking for a man wanted for Attempted murder in Clinton. Police say 39-year-old Randy Allen Jackson is accused of shooting a man July 2nd, and a woman July 3rd in Clinton.

Officers were called to Mercy One Hospital Sunday, July 2nd, because an adult male being treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Police were then called back to the hospital several hours later on July 3rd, because of a second shooting, a woman was being treated for several gunshot wounds. Investigators say the suspect and the victims knew each other.

There is an active warrant for Jackson, who is not in police custody and should be considered armed and dangerous.
