(Ankeny, IA) -- The city of Ankeny will host every events for RAGBRAI riders later this month.
The city says it will serve as a meet up for bicyclists on their ride from Ames to Des Moines on July 26th. The RAGBRAI route will begin on NW Irvinedale Drive. The city says residents along the route have been notified by mail and should expect delays, however emergency services will remain operational throughout the day. The city says traffic delays, an increase in pedestrians, and road closures should be expected.
