(Davenport, IA) -- The city of Davenport says volunteers are invited to help clean Duck Creek this month.
Volunteers will clean wooded areas along the trail, including clearing brush, picking up trash, and removing invasive species. Two cleaning sessions will be held this month, one on Saturday July 8th and another on Thursday, July 13th, both from noon until 3pm.
Volunteers will meet at the Duck Creek Lodge. The city recommends wearing long sleeves, closed-toed shoes, and applying sunscreen throughout the day.
