(Scott Co., IA) -- One person's dead and two people are hurt after a car crash between Davenport and Eldridge. The Scott County Sheriff's Office says a car crossed into oncoming traffic on Utica Ridge Road just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday and hit another car head-on. The 18-year-old male driver of the first car died at the scene. A 33-year-old woman in the other car suffered serious injuries while another person in that car suffered minor injuries. The sheriff's office says the 18-year-old that died wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
