(Rock Island, IL) -- A new port district is coming to the Quad Cities, funded by federal grants.
The city of Rock Island, the state of Illinois, and Democratic Senator Mike Halpin have been working together on the development for the last several months.
When complete, it will be the 20th port district in Illinois, bringing more tourists to the area with new attractions.
