(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Many Linn County residents were able to collect free rain barrels over the weekend.
A distribution event was held over the weekend where the barrels were handed out at the Linn County Resiliency Hub facility.
It's the second time Linn County has done something like this.
The sustainability effort will help collect rain runoff that people can use to water their gardens without putting a dent in their own water bills.
According to the Sustainability Director for Linn County, around 20 barrels all donated by Coca-Cola were handed out.
