(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- One person is hospitalized after a shooting Saturday night in Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids Police say they received reports of the shooting a little before 11pm Saturday in the 1100 block of 32nd Street NE. When officers arrived they found that a home had been shot multiple times, and one of the bullets had hit a person sleeping inside. The victim was stabilized at the scene of the shooting and taken to an area hospital and remains in stable condition.
No suspects have been identified so far, and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
