(Buffalo, IA) -- A man from Davenport is dead after falling into the Mississippi River to the west of the Quad Cities. Police say 48-year-old Michael Eskridge was boating on the Mississippi near Buffalo, Iowa last Friday evening, lost his balance, and fell into the water. They say Eskridge's body was found almost three hours later. Investigators haven't released his official cause of death.
