Boil Orders Issued for Cordova, Biggsville

(Western Illinois) -- Boil orders are in place for two western Illinois villages.

The villages of both Cordona and Biggsville say residents should boil tap water due to water quality concerns. The boil order is in place in Biggsville until Saturday at 3pm due to valve replacements. Residents of Cordova should boil their water until further notice. The Centers for Disease Control says contaminated tap water could contain germs that can cause people to become ill.
