National Weather Service Meteorologists at the Omaha Office in Valley say next week is looking to be a hot one as temperatures are forecast to be in the mid to upper 90s, pushing 100 midweek.
Meantime, they say spotty rain showers are possible beginning late this afternoon and they could continue into the overnight hours.
Saturday, there is a Marginal Risk for severe weather with storms possible in the afternoon and evening.
Sunny skies are forecast for Sunday as temperatures will start to rise.
