(Des Moines, IA) -- One person is dead and several are seriously injured after a two-car crash outside Creston over the weekend.
It happened Friday night around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 34 and 190th Street.
One driver failed to stop at the intersection and T-boned another car.
19-year-old Halsie Lynn Barnes ultimately died from critical injuries.
Five other people were transported from the scene, two by helicopter.
All of their injuries were also considered critical.
Only one person was wearing a seatbelt at the time.
Iowa State Patrol officers did not initially list charges in connection with the crash.
