(Cedar County, IA) -- Police are investigating why a man was walking along a highway in Cedar County before being killed by an SUV.
Authorities say the crash happened on Highway 30 just before midnight on July 17th.
38-year-old Brett Moravek of Marion was the man hit by the car.
He was reported dead at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
