(Volga, IA) -- The Clayton County Sheriff's Office says two men are in critical condition after being ejected from the bed of a pickup truck Saturday evening.
Investigators say the crash happened around 7pm Saturday when the driver of the truck sped up quickly, and the two men in the bed of the truck were ejected, suffering life-threatening injuries. Multiple callers reported the crash near the Volga U Campground. The two men were rushed to an area hospital in serious condition.
So far the names of those involved have not been released, and an investigation is ongoing.
