(Undated) -- Iowa is the 2nd-best state in the country for health care. That's according to the latest study by WalletHub, which ranks Iowa behind only Minnesota. Illinois is much further down the list at 36th while Nebraska ranks 14th. To make its rankings WalletHub says it compared all 50 states and Washington, DC across 44 measures of health care cost, accessibility, and outcome. Iowa's best category is cost, ranking 2nd. The state also ranks in the top 10 in medical outcomes, percentage of insured adults, and percentage of insured children. WalletHub says the worst state for health care is West Virginia.
