(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police Chief Dana Wingert will be one of 20 local celebrities who have agreed to skydive to raise money for a charity organization.
Above + Beyond Cancer is hosting the event, in which each local celebrity will perform a tandem jump. The organization's goal is to raise $50,000 to benefit programs for cancer survivors. The organization says each jumper will have their jump filmed and put together in a short film that will be available at a hangar party on Thursday, September 14th.
