No injuries are reported in a vehicle-train collision near Modale in Harrison County in western Iowa.
The Modale Volunteer Fire Department went to the scene on County Road K45 around 9:45 Sunday evening and teamed up with the Missouri Valley Volunteer Fire Department to put out a fire in the heavily damaged vehicle hit by a unit coal train.
On its Facebook page, Modale fire warns motorists the rail crossing arms on Austin Avenue between Modale and U.S. Highway 30 are damaged.
