(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police are investigating a shooting outside a grocery store.
The shooting happened outside a Hy-Vee near 14th street and East Park Avenue at around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say two groups of people were outside the store when a person from one group shot towards the other group before leaving the parking lot.
According to Sergeant Paul Parizek, shell casings were found at the scene but it is currently unknown how many shots were fired.
Officers are hoping nearby witnesses and video footage can help with their investigation.
No one was reported injured.
