(Cascade, IA) -- Two drivers caught speeding and drag racing on a highway in northeast Iowa are likely facing stiff fines. An Iowa State Patrol Trooper-Pilot clocked the drivers on U-S Highway 151 near Cascade traveling at speeds between the upper 90s to 136 MPH. The speed zone in the location is 65 MPH.
The Iowa State Patrol says the two drivers began accelerating and started to race. Thankfully, Troopers stopped them and charged them with Speeding (112 mph & 136 mph) and Drag Racing.
