(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Law enforcement is investigating a house fire that took place over the weekend in Linn County.
Crews arrived at a home in the 5700 Block of Sanden Road NE at around 8:50 p.m. Saturday to find it engulfed in flames.
Firefighters forced entry into the back of the home through a four seasons porch to extinguish the fire.
Crews also cut holes in the roof and removed siding in order to extinguish any hot spots and prevent the fire from expanding.
No one was home during the fire, however, the home is left with significant damage.
