Triple A reports that the average prices for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.57 a gallon, down 9 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:
- Des Moines: $3.48
- Ames: $3.75
- Cedar Rapids: $3.55
- Iowa City: $3.69
- Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.52
- Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.93
- Dubuque: $3.74
- Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.43
- Sioux City: $3.68
- Council Bluffs: $3.56
The average national price for regular unleaded is $3.82 a gallon.
