A Nebraska prison inmate death is reported, the second this week, and both inmates were in their 70s;
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says 76-year old Alfred Thulin died at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution.
Thulin’s sentence began in June, 1994: 40 to 80 years for first degree sexual assault on a child and escape out of Hall County.
As is the case whenever a person dies in the custody of law enforcement, Nebraska law requires a grand jury investigation.
