(Waukee, IA) -- New details from Waukee Police about a child's death today (Thursday). Crews were called to a home on NW Greenwood Place, north of Hickman Road about 10 o'clock this (Thursday) morning due to an unresponsive one-year-old child. First responders were unable to revive the child. The child's body has been taken to the State Medical Examiner's office in Ankeny for an autopsy.
