(Waukee, IA) -- The Miracle League of Waukee is still in need of volunteers for the upcoming fall season.
The league is about letting anyone with special needs or disabilities play baseball and softball in a safe atmosphere.
The league is looking for about 30 volunteers or 'buddies' to help the players and cheer them on.
Officials say playing in the league leaves a great experience for everyone.
There are about 20 participants this year.
The season starts September 9th and goes to the 30th.
Free uniform shirts will be provided.
Volunteers can sign up on the city of Waukee's website.
