Omaha Police say a person was wounded in a shooting near 61st and Pinkney Streets.
Officers went to that area around nine Monday evening and spoke with witnesses, who said there was a disturbance and one person may have fired a gun in self defense.
Approximately 20 minutes later, Police say a shooting victim, 36-year old Fernando Martinez, arrived at a hospital emergency room.
They say Martinez offered little information to officers.
Investigators say his injuries are non-life threatening.
