(Iowa City, IA) -- This year's incoming class at the University of Iowa holds the highest average GPA on record.
The class of 2027 holds an average GPA of 3.83 and is the fourth largest incoming class on record at just over 5 thousand students. The university says about one in five members of the incoming class is a member of a minority group.
