(Moline, IL) -- A new Ollie's location is now open in Moline with NASCAR champion Tony Stewart in appearance.
The store located on 4401 27th Street had a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an autograph session with the professional racer on Wednesday.
Ollie's occupies the old Gorman's store that sat vacant since around 2020.
According to Ollie's website, they are America's largest retailer of closeout merchandise and excess inventory.
Ollie's sells real brands at bargain prices, from housewares to sporting goods, to flooring and food.
The store is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The company says it is the ninth location in Illinois.
It is bringing about 50 jobs to the community.
