Omaha Police say 42-year old Luke Boisseree of Omaha was driving a Mercedes east on "L" Street early Friday when he lost control of the vehicle, which struck a guardrail near 77th Street, and eventually went off the road, landing in a parking lot.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Omaha Fire paramedics.
Omaha Police say speed and lack of seatbelt use are factors in the crash.
Accident investigators say alcohol is also being investigated as a factor.
