(Linn County, IA) -- A man is facing charges after fleeing a crash scene over the weekend.
At about 2:45 p.m. Saturday, emergency crews responded to the crash on Highway 30 near Cedar River Road, where they located a Kia Rondo in the eastbound lanes of Highway 30 and a Hundai Sonata on the shoulder.
Police say 61-year-old Kenneth Kistener was driving his Kia, failed to stop when entering Highway 30, before crashing into the Hundai and then leaving the scene on a motorized bicycle.
The driver of the Hundai was not injured.
Kistener was soon located by police on Cedar River Road and transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Law enforcement is still investigating.
