(Davenport, IA) -- Henry Dinkins is pleading his case ahead of his verdict announcement in Davenport on Friday. Dinkins is accused of kidnapping and murdering ten-year-old Breasia Terrell in 2020. He wrote a letter to the judge yesterday, accusing the state of violating multiple Iowa Court Rules in his trial. The claims include withholding evidence from his attorneys. Dinkins asked the judge to allow him to prove these violations on record. A verdict is expected in the case from Judge Latham on Friday morning in Scott County Court.
