(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police say a suspect is in custody after bringing a gun to North High School Thursday morning.
Police say Des Moines Public Schools safety officers and officers from the Des Moines Police Department were able to take the gun away from the suspect. The suspect, who is a juvenile, was arrested about 45 minutes after leaving the campus. Police say K9 units were used to track the suspect. No one was hurt during the incident.
