(Story County, IA) -- Two people are facing charges in the death of an infant in Nevada, Iowa. The Story County Sheriff's Office says 35-year-old Juan Angel Montalvo Jr. and 23-year-old Sheyenne Nicole Shore were taken into custody in California on unrelated charges.
The Story County Sheriff's Office says Montalvo and Shore will be returned to Iowa to face First Degree Murder and Child Endangerment Resulting in Death charges. The infant died June 11th in Nevada.
