(Rock Island, IL) -- The Rock Island Arsenal has released a statement regarding the possible government shutdown. A spokesperson for The Arsenal and Army Material Command says they need consistent and predictable funding to responsibly equip and maintain soldiers. The Arsenal is home to the First Army Command and employs over 6-thousand people.
