(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A Cedar Rapids mom is facing charges after her child was found unresponsive in a Cedar Rapids motel.
Police responded to reports of an unresponsive child Monday, October 2nd at 3325 Southgate Ct SW at around 7:50 a.m.
Police then discovered an unresponsive 3-year-old child with several facial and chest injuries.
The child was taken to a nearby hospital where a medical evaluation determined the injuries were linked to child abuse.
The 25-year-old mother, Jjuanna Deojanae Williams, is facing Child Endangerment charges and is currently being held at the Linn County Correctional Center.
