(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Two men are dead and one is seriously injured after a shooting at a Cedar Rapids Apartment Complex.
The shooting happened Thursday, October 5th, at around 8:20 p.m. at The Pointe Apartment complex.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 3900 block of Sherman Road NE where they discovered three men gunshot wounds.
Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene while the third was transported to a nearby hospital.
His current condition is currently unknown.
Police have yet to make any arrests and say there is no active threat to the public.
The Cedar Rapids Police Department will send out a press release once they are able to.
