The Westside Foundation announces a campaign to raise money for improvements to Omaha Westside High School, including a new Olympic size swimming pool.
Their goal is to raise $34-Million dollars, and they say they already have 75 percent of it.
The private fundraising is in addition to a $121 million bond issue approved by Westside Community Schools voters earlier this year for improvements to eight buildings in District 66.
In a news release, the foundation says features include:
● Transition & Life Skills Suite
● College and Career Readiness Center
● Sports Medicine & Athletic Training
● Innovation & Learning Center
● Performance & Wellness Center
● WHS Family Resource Center
● Multi-Purpose Center
● Secondary Gym & Testing Facility
● Fitness Studio
● Westside Natatorium
