(Davenport, IA) -- It's Primary Election Day in Davenport. Polls are open until 8 p.m. tonight as Davenport residents narrow five city races down to two candidates.
Ballots are being cast for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th Ward Alderman, and mayoral races.
Mike Matson is running for his third term as Davenport mayor, with medical assistant Yvonne Collins, state representative Ken Croken, and car sales manager Brandon Westmoreland running as challengers.
The top two vote-getters in each race will advance to the general election on November 7.
