(Lincoln, NE) -- The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy is scheduled to host a webinar Tuesday afternoon to gather public input for a statewide Priority Climate Action plan, due to the federal Environmental Protection Agency in March. The plan would focus mainly on voluntary actions and financial incentives to curb greenhouse gas emissions. It comes after a three million dollar federal planning grant to the state from the EPA earlier this year.

After the state submits its plan, local entities will also be able to submit plans to the EPA, which if approved, would be followed by federal grants to implement those plans.

The Tuesday webinar starts at 2 p.m. and can be accessed HERE.
