Parts Of Mississippi Remain Closed in Quad Cities After Bridge Demolition

(Bettendorf, IA) -- Parts of the Mississippi River navigation channel remain closed this morning. Demolition crews used explosives yesterday to blow-up the remains of three concrete piers of the old I-74 bridge between Bettendorf, Iowa and Moline, Illinois. Sections of the river will remain closed until Wednesday while crews remove debris.
