(Davenport, IA) -- One man is in custody after a high-speed chase results in a multi-car crash in Davenport.
According to Iowa State Patrol troopers, the chase began Sunday at around 3:00 p.m. in Clinton County and ended when the suspect crashed near Veterans Memorial Parkway & Brady Street.
ISP says about five cars were affected by the crash resulting in some minor injuries.
One driver involved in the crash says the suspect was going south in the northbound lanes before hitting a car and crossing the median before hitting another car stopped at a traffic light.
Two people sustained minor injuries including the suspect, 37-year-old Anthony Fort.
Fort was treated at a nearby hospital before being booked into the Scott County jail.
He is facing several charges.
