(Des Moines, IA) -- A suspect is in custody after a carjacking in Des Moines Thursday.
Des Moines Police say around 11:30am, a woman called to having been pulled out of her vehicle and threatened by a man with a large knife. Investigators say the incident happened on Des Moines' south side. A DMPD officer later spotted the stolen vehicle and took the suspect into custody. No one was hurt in the incident.
The neither the name of the suspect nor the victim have been released.
