(Des Moines, IA) -- A cat advocacy organization is partnering with the Animal Rescue League of Iowa to give away free cat food today.
Alley Cat Allies and the Animal Rescue League of Iowa will distribute 13 tons of cat food for free at the ARL location at 1615 SE 14th Street in Des Moines. The event runs from noon until 2pm. Alley Cat Allies will offer a no cost spay, neuter, and wellness clinic at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa location next month, and there will be two more cat food giveaways in November, on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 7th and 8th.
