(Ankeny, IA) -- No one was hurt after an early morning house fire in Ankeny.
Investigators say the fire was reported a little before 3am Wednesday after a homeowner woke up to hearing smoke alarms. When fire crews arrived on the scene, they found a fire and heavy smoke in the garage. Two cats were rescued, and the fire was quickly put out. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
