(Ankeny, IA) -- The Ankeny Fire Department is giving out reflective bags ahead of Beggar's Night next week.
The Fire Department says the bags will be available while supplies last at the Ankeny Fire Department Headquarters at 120 NW Ash Drive. The city of Ankeny is urging drivers to take extra caution during Beggar's Night, as drivers are more than four times more likely to hit a child during trick-or-treating than any other night each year.
Beggar's Night in Ankeny is scheduled for Monday, October 30th from 6pm-8pm.
