Blown Transformer Leaves Thousands Of Moline Residents In The Dark

(Moline, IL) -- A blown transformer resulted in thousands of Quad Cities residents without power this morning. MidAmerican reported as many as seven-thousand Moline homes and businesses without power in the I-74 / John Deere Road area. By mid-morning, just over two-hundred customers near South Park Mall were still without power.
