(Iowa City, IA) -- The University of Iowa is planning a $27.4 million renovation of Duane Banks baseball field.
According to the University of Iowa Athletics, plans include increasing seating capacity, ADA compliance, more concessions and restrooms using funds from athletic department gifts and revenue.
Plans also include a renovation of the main entrance to the stadium.
The University will seek approval next week from the Iowa Board of Regents.
The renovations would begin after the 2024 baseball season.
