Omaha National Weather Service Meteorologists at their office in Valley say while humidity will be higher than the level on Monday, windy conditions will still lead to grassland fire weather concerns today.
With gusts of 25 to 40 mph out of the southwest, they say any fire that does start may spread quickly.
The position of the jet stream blocks rain development and cooler air.
