Iowa Top State in the Country for Millennial Homeownership

(Iowa) -- Iowa is the number one state in the country for millennial homeownership.

Data from the U.S. Census Bureau show 63% of millennials in Iowa own a home. Iowa is also ranked at the top of the list of states for affordability and comes in at number five for personal finance. CNBC reports that the top five states from millennial homeownership include:

  1. Iowa
  2. Minnesota
  3. Maine
  4. West Virginia
  5. Michigan

According to Zillow, the average price for a home in Iowa is $210,484.
