Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appeared on the Max & Amy show just before my show aired on Newsradio 1040, WHO.
Two things stood out to me during the interview.
1) After months of honing his message with Iowans, Governor DeSantis is delivering what sounds like his closing argument for the support of Republicans who will caucus in Iowa on January 15.
2) Asked about his upcoming debate with Gavin Newsom, Governor DeSantis warns that the Democrats may replace Joe Biden on the ticket with Newsom. This was considered "fringy" conspiracy talk just a few weeks ago. Now, a mainstream candidate is talking openly about the possibility.
