Omaha Police, with the assistance of the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, make a homicide arrest.
Investigators say 34-year old Cecilia Perez was reported missing from Omaha on Tuesday and was last heard from last weekend.
Lancaster County Sheriff's Deputies then responded to a 9-1-1 call of a deceased female near North 98th and Havelock Avenues Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the body was identified as Ms. Perez.
Omaha Police Homicide Unit investigators conducted a follow up to the death investigation in Lancaster County.
Based on that investigation, police say 33-year old Raymond Evans of Omaha was booked into Douglas County Corrections for Criminal Homicide.
